Jersey Blog: Day 7

The same routine continued as we woke up at 8:00 and went to breakfast at 8:30. All of us had a light breakfast so when we had to run in the game we wouldn’t get a stitch. We were very hyper in the bus because we were ready to play football....

Jersey Blog: Day 6

I was rudely awakened at 7.45 by water thrown on my head by Josh Eden and Jermaine (Jam jam), it made me spring out of bed and get ready for breakfast; which was not until 8.15. After a lovely breakfast we went to our football game, against Thurrock. ...

Jersey Blog: Day 5

Today was officially amazing (not the game though- yawn!)Breakfast was delicious although Charlie could’ve had less food (he is going to get FAT!) We lost 2-0 against Plymouth, to be honest with you we dominated the game :) . We had lots of chances - we hit the cross bar twice and the post three times:(. Also Jermaine (jam jam) handballed it in the box, (luckily it wasn’t a penalty.)...

We were all disappointed and felt embarrassed because all the Jersey supporters were there....

Jersey Blog: Day 3

Today we dominated the game even though they were a year older than us but they had two chances and they scored both of them. We had many chances but we couldn’t put any in the BACK of the net. BUT we did have one (from Yousuf) that did cross the line but the ref didn’t give it. It was way clearer than Frank Lampard’s shot against Germany in the World Cup! Although we lost we were really proud of our performances because we all played to the best of our ability....

Jersey Blog: Day 2

Yesterday we played against Chiltern and we lost 4 – 0. We felt excited because it was our first game in Jersey but also nervous and a quarter of me (Charlie) was like WOW! We want to improve for the next game because we were a bit lazy and could do better....

Jersey Blog: Day 1

We just arrived at London Bridge and the nerves are getting the better of us, some people are really excited to go to Jersey and others are really nervous. Because they will miss their family and they have never been away from home before; I Josh was really bad and tears started to appear.. But as for William he was scared of the flight. ...
